You may have heard that "Pain is in the Brain". In fact, not only do our brain inform us about the physical qualities of the pain, but it also triggers its emotional aspect, our “feeling hurt”. Pain is an emotion-laden sensation that affects and is affected by our mental state. Therefore, improving our mental health may help us both reduce and accept our pain, and improve our quality of life.
