Fibromyalgia Program Objectives
This program is designed in accordance with the recommendations of the European League Against Rheumatism(EULAR) for the management of fibromyalgia. According to the 2016 EULAR guidelines, patient education and regular physical exercise are considered the cornerstone of fibromyalgia treatment, with multidisciplinary interventions recommended when symptoms significantly affect daily functioning.
The program aims to help participants:
-
Reduce the impact of persistent pain and fatigue
-
Improve physical function and tolerance to activity through progressive and individualized exercise
-
Regain confidence in movement and reduce fear of physical activity
-
Better understand fibromyalgia and chronic pain mechanisms through pain neuroscience education
-
Develop effective long-term self-management strategies to regulate activity levels and manage symptom flare-ups
-
Improve overall quality of life and daily functioning
By combining therapeutic exercise, education, and multidisciplinary support, the program encourages participants to take an active role in managing their condition, which is a key principle highlighted in international fibromyalgia management guidelines.
Why a Multidisciplinary Program Matters ?
Our programs are designed according to current scientific evidence and international clinical guidelines for chronic pain management. By bringing all the required specialties together in one place, our team can collaborate closely and regularly review each patient’s progress. This coordinated multidisciplinary approach allows treatment strategies to be continuously adapted according to the patient’s evolution, ensuring more effective and personalized care.
In addition, the structured prepaid program format helps reinforce patient commitment and consistency throughout the rehabilitation process. Many individuals living with chronic pain experience fluctuations in motivation due to persistent symptoms and frustration with previous treatments. A structured program encourages regular participation, continuity of care, and active engagement in the rehabilitation process, which are key factors for achieving meaningful and long-term improvements.
