Dr. Kortbaoui is a Paris Descartes University Graduate.

She holds:

• The French Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care

• A University Degree in Locoregional Anesthesia

• A University Degree in Acute and Chronic Pain Management

• A Masters Degree in Chronic Pain Management 

 

Dr Kortbaoui has trained in the pain centers of the following Parisian reference hospitals: La Pitié Salpétrière, Cochin, Saint Antoine, Institut Gustave Roussy, Foch, Trousseau and Ambroise Paré.

 

She evaluates, diagnoses and treats acute and chronic pain conditions and performs procedures such as nerve blocks and subcutaneous botox injections for neuropathic pain. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and works in coordination with all surgical and medical specialities to treat conditions such as cancer pain, post-surgical pain (post sternotomy, post herniorrhaphy, post mastectomy…), vascular pain, neuropathic pain, post herpetic neuralgia, pain from inflammatory diseases, fibromyalgia. 

 

Dr. Kortbaoui is the cofounder and medical director of Active Health clinic in Achrafieh, Beirut.

She is the Pain Management Specialist at the Lebanese American University Medical Center LAUMCRH - Rizk hospital.

She is a part timer consultant Physician at The "Centre d'Etude et d'Evaluation de la Douleur" at Tenon Hospital in Paris.
